The Process
Preparing the Floor
Remove or punch home any nails or screws that are protruding from the wood make sound any loose boards or if damaged replace them.
Sanding
We use the latest up to date machines for our sanding processes, different size machines are used depending on the job, they are equipped with their own dust collection system, to minimise any inconvenience to your home or business place.
We will sand by hand any areas too intricate for the larger machines, to make the floor ready for sealing.
Sealing
We use only high quality sealants that dry in the minimum of time, there are different finishes available from a high gloss look to a matt finish or maybe you would prefer the more subtle satin sheen. There is also the hard wax oil that leaves a perfectly natural finish to the wood. Which ever you choose we will meet your requirements.
At Castle floors our aim is to give total customer satisfaction and to do this other products may be used depending on what the customer requires.
We also offer a floor cleaning service as part of our aftercare package. This service is aimed mainly at the club and nightclub industry or any commercial building. This would be a cost effective way of prolonging the life of the floor by having it professionally scrubbed clean once a month or even fortnightly depending on the amount of use the floor gets.
