Products We Use

Polyurethane Seal

This is suitable for domestic well used areas and industrial use, such as schools, dance halls & gymnasiums. Polyurethane is the hardest wearing wood seal, available in gloss satin or matt finish.

Water Based Polyurethane

More suitable for domestic and light use, it gives off very little odour. A three coat system is usually applied available in gloss and satin finish.

Primer

A base coat (primer) is always used after the sanding process to ensure that the surface of the wood is properly sealed. After this we proceed with the final applications to achieve a high quality finish.

Epoxy Resin

We also restore garage and warehouse floors etc, using a self levelling epoxy resin after the floor as been blasted and cleaned.

At Castle floors our aim is to give total customer satisfaction and to do this other products may be used depending on the customer requirements.

 

 

We can restore badly scratched or dented wood floors. There is nothing more beautiful than a restored parquet floor it gives us great satisfaction to see the finished result.

Preparing The Floor
Remove or punch home any nails or screws that are protruding from the wood, make sound any loose boards where possible sand by hand any areas too intricate for the machines.

Sanding
We use the latest up to date machines for our sanding processes, different size machines are used depending on the job in hand they are equipped with their own dust collection system to minimise any inconvenience to your home or business place.

Sealing
We use only high quality sealants that dry in the minimum of time, there are different finishes available from a high gloss look to a matt finish or maybe you would prefer the more subtle satin sheen, which ever you choose we will meet your requirements.
