The way we conduct our wood flooring work to get the best possible results lies in our three step process. Developed in Yorkshire and particularly effective on Hard Wood Floors.
For stage one, we fully prepare the floor. This entails going over the whole surface looking for deficiencies, protrusions or anything else that could hamper our work and prevent us doing anything but a professional and perfect job. The most common problems with the floors are that hardwood floor boards are loose or damaged (fear not we can replace them). The minor problems entail any screws or nails sticking out that just need to be hammered / screwed back in.
Stage two is where we start to work on the hardwood floor and proceed to sand it. All our sanding machines are sourced locally in Yorkshire and are the latest models of sanding machines to ensure the best possible result with a minimal carbon footprint. We don’t just blast the sanding machine either, for the more delicate and intricate areas we have no issues with getting down to the nitty-gritty and hand sanding it ourselves.
Finally, we finish with the sealing of the hardwood floor. We have a range of finishes available, all of which are of the highest quality. So if you want a Satin Sheen finish you’re covered. We also have other options available such as gloss, matte or a natural oil wax finish.
